I am here in Toyota with my host family. No photos today, but I do have a few on my camera. Toyota is soo small. I like it here though, very pretty, and quiet.My host family is really nice. Though I am having a little trouble when it comes to understanding/speaking because I am not that familiar with the plane form of Japanese, so there is a lot of guess work on my part. Though for some reason, I seem to recall understanding Japanese better when I was in San Marcos than I do now.I am also proud to announce, well, not quite proud, but it did happen, that I made my host-sister’s niece cry. Just sitting there. I guess she hasn’t seen many/any 外人 (gaijin/gaikokujin).We went to the outlet mall in Gifu today. It reminded me a lot of america, and it had mostly american brands. There were some really cool shirts, but nothing with crazy enough engrish on it to make me buy it.Tomorrow is my first day of class. Wish me luck!
