China Town and Roppongi

中華街 – Chinatown

An awesome monkey

Yumi and I in front of an awesome shrine in Chinatown. I threw 4 ¥1 coins.

Just some signage – which look like a lot of the signs in Japan – just more kanji on these.
六本木 – Roppongi

We ate Tacos for lunch. They were way too expensive and the salsa was sweet. Still though tacos rock.

Because there was a latin american festival going on – though I didn’t see it – minus the taco hut.

Tokyo Tower. They only give buttons to kids. We found one that a kid dropped. I am now the proud owner of a Tokyo Tower button. It goes with me everywhere.

Full of Indian food and tired from walking from Roppongi to Tokyo Tower (a good 30+ minute walk) through one of the largest Matsuri I have seen thus far (all two of them)).
This looked interesting – and blocked most of the sidewalk because of the lookieloos.
I will also confirm that Japanese and Americans laugh at completely different things sometimes in movies. Such as Rush Hour 3. It was fun being one of two Americans (who oddly enough sat almost right next to each other). Sometimes we were the only ones laughing.
I’ve learned 100 Kanji in 4 days. Most importantly – I can write them all and remember them quite well.
